Question

Without any clues, it could be any of the three. but if you read the first sentence over again slowly to see what day of the week it is, you'll realize it's the mailman, because mail isn't delivered on Sundays.

One bright and sunny sunday morning, a man was murdered in a mansion.

The only ones near the house when the man was killed were the maid, the butler, and the mailman.

The maid said she couldn't have killed him because she was too busy cleaning.

The mailman said he couldn't have killed him because he was too busy delivering mail.

And the Butler said he couldn't have killed him because he was to busy running the house.

Who killed him?

I think I've heard something like this one before, except the maid was the bad guy and it was much more obvious.

It was something like:

In a circle house, a guy lost his watch and he was sure someone stole it.

The maid said she was sweeping dust out of the corner.

The butler said he was taking a walk.

The cook said he was washing the dishes.

Lol.

Btw, mail can be delivered on Sunday, such as like the Boston Globe and La Times i think.
