I'd stay away from the Battle for Olympus just for now (it is probably a little too complicated) For the moment ignore the sub forums goodies and baddies (as they were for Battle for Olympus) Look for something in the games section that has recently completed like High School Mafia 3. The twist with High School Mafia 3 is that the Goodies did not even know which roles were the baddies. Redwall Mafia (once it begins)will probably be a little easier to understand and play. If you have read some of Unrealitys Newbie Mafia guide already he has links to some really old games reading 'Mafia I' will give you a good feel for the basic concept of this game

Usually the "baddies" in a Mafia game can all talk with each other in a different thread This is called BTSC (behind the scenes communication) They usually also get to choose who they want to eliminate from the game (kill) as a group during the night phase There are normally quite a few more "goodies" than baddies and they normally don't have BTSC or the right to kill as a group during the night During the day phase all the players (goodies and baddies) will vote on who they want to lynch (eliminate from the game) in order to get rid of the baddies Looking at other mafia games will definitely help you understand what is happening as this is only a rough guide, Also check the guide written by Unreality (I think it is a sticky topic in this forum)
