I might try being a mentor again, not signing up (even as a backup) to give as much help and encouragement to new players as possible. Can we hire 1/2 dozen sniffer chickens? Try to use them to detect if those in quarantine are infected Once you have completely examined the diary put the cover on a new one pretend the diary is yours and write your notes in it also bring the chickens to each of the interviews. Note how the suspects and the chickens react in diary To Basil: Good so you know Luthess then, what is the nature of your relationship with him? How about Sargh? Ask about his records and if you can have access to them? To Luther: you seem to have an infestation of chickens under your house can we call someone to eradicate them? they especially seem to like your bedroom. Do you have some chickenfeed? "accidentally" leave two of the chickens behind at Luthers place Can we legally bug Basil and Luthers place? how about putting a wire on chickens?

Introduce Sarah Anthony to Luther (through the glass) say "I am sure you two have met Sarah this is.. Um I seem to have forgotten his name" Also ask Sarah what her research involves, about other possibilities for transporting Basilisk, if people can be carriers without exhibiting symptoms and finally if other animals can be carriers or fall victim to Basilisk. Ask about her relationship to Dr Basil and to Luther (If she supplies a name to the above) Ask Bart if he noticed Dr Basil taking notes while he was injected, asked if has noticed Luther or Basil taking notes in his presence over the past couple of weeks. Can we get a warrant to search the doctors/Luther's house/work for medical records or notes? I must say having them in quarantine does mean that they have a more difficult time disposing of evidence, does it what?

It may be a good idea to quarantine all witnesses/suspects (I'm sorry but I also mean Merlin) Ask Dr Basil if he knows of anyone involved in medication who may be able to help? Is there anyone he knows who might know about Basilisk? Is there any test we can do to tell if people have Basilisk? Does Merlin have fleas? Ask Bart if he has had any insect bites recently? Is there anyone else you have visited over the past week? Ask Luther what he knows about Basilisk? Are any of the suspects doing something odd? What precautions are they taking so that they are not infected?

Could you tell us about Luther? 3. What were you doing with Mark and Luther? 4. Do you have any pets? Have you noticed any stray animals recently? have you touched them? Ask Dr Basil 1. It wasn't exactly balanced for an Indy either. Mind you playing an Indy is supposed to be hard. You have to be very lucky to win night one, lucky to win night 3 and very lucky to make it to night 5. This is because there is only one guess per night with the only faction that did not have any means of spying apart from trial and error (which would be hard to do if you play dead). Medji and if I was cornflower how would I have acted any differently?

I was convinced that Medji was Badrang, and had blocked himself. I wasn't ready to post the question if he could block himself however on the forum because the BTSC baddies would begin suspecting me about double crossing them. When I asked Framm about it and got told Yes, I jokingly told him he was a baddie and should be playing Mafia. Under the advice from Slick I had Cavenglock targeted as Ublaz Mad Eyes to see if could find out what flavor of baddie he was. If it worked the baddies would have need my help to win (and kept me alive), If it failed I could play dead and pretend I was cornflower (bit of a risk cause I was not sure if they were dead). What I was worried about was if you had blocked me, I would have claimed that I had been Frammd (intentional) but I don't think it would have stuck. I pretty much suspected I was dead once we lost Slick.

I wasn't just you that got lucky you double crossing backstabbing baddie (I suspected there would be a double cross, but there was nothing I could have done to prevent it) I could have been toast on the first day Slick, What made you suspect Cavenglock? CP, Why did you not say anything about Crispen? and then did you actually intend to commit suicide with post 41 or did you not realise how it could be taken? Tpax, baddies don't just die especially tricky ones Medji, any reason you were pinning me the first day? Why would Cluny need medical attention that night wouldn't it have been wiser to protect a team-mate (since he was safe already) To Cavenglock and actressgirl, so how was your first game? I do not suggest you try to play an independent like I just did. Normally they try to be quiet and not draw any attention to themselves (a style of play that I find difficult to do )

So the bad guys by my calculation are Slick, Medji and I :wacko: I think this is a bad move guys

This came up as a hopeless failure. It is obvious that whoever the bad guys are they are following a completely different philosophy. This strikes me as being something we have not seen before. With this in mind I am voting for actressgirl also helping you guys tie the votes if necessary later. actressgirl, if you are innocent you may need to be careful what you give away.

Just realised that you plan does not hold water GM, only on the first day nobody dies from tied votes. I am reasonably sure you are a goodie. CP spied on crispen the first night (in post) and she didn't indicate that your character was bad. I thought you may have been the Friar in your last role (I think it is OK to say this since the old you is dead) so I don't know how you can fix the votes now

I think that today we need better reasons than this for voting for people, If Slick is innocent and outs himself it could be a case of night night Slick. Alternately if you are going to make "kind of suspicious" statements you should be really sure about someones role before you turn them into slick kebab.

Can we infer from this that Ublaz didn't act night 1? <begs>Please, Please don't let out my role, I don't want to be RID'd tonight</begs> Reminder, Some people are more susceptible to RIDs than others, we do this wrong and there could be an Indy win. There is a good possibility he (or she, not familiar with Redwall) is still around.

Reading the post would suggest that either I, GMaster, you or actressGirl are Friar Hugo If you are wondering why I might have switch votes to you 1. I had to switch to someone else I was toast (or had to appear to switch to someone else role reveal) 2. You defended CP and Slick far to quickly have you heard the following proverb "If you throw a stone at a pack of dogs, the one that yelps the loudest is the one you have hit" (don't get me wrong, I am not trying to call anyone a dog) This was another reason to withdraw my vote from Slick (he didn't react) 3. There is a difference between an inflamitory post designed to get people talking, and flush out the baddies, and a suspicious one.

Sorry CP, but for me post #41 was far too suspicious, was thinking about voting for Medji but this did it for me I have purposely rocked the boat during the day to see if I could find the bad guys. Admittedly it didn't work, and for that I appologise to you all. This means however that tonight there is a target on my back and for this I am going to need the help of Abbess Germaine.
