Looks like a lot of good thinking is going into this At the moment it looks like BB has the best method Is it possible to do the same thing with even less chance of re-roll? Another advantage with BBs method it requires only two rolls

Although this was very similar to my answer. The dice will still have a "overlap" The chance of getting 210 is high the chance of getting 420 or 21 are low. When you do the modulas does it return an even distribution over the 21 numbers? This might be possible if high percentage values are paired with low possiblity values

I just relised it wont work. 20 to the power of 21 is not divisible by 21 I was not a case of 10 and 11 being weighted higher as there is no overlap

A figure sneaks out of the shadows and approachs the philosphers house. Unfortunatly is was an odd night and the philosopher was not home. Hi, I'm Phaze (real name too unique to reveal) I initially came here to do puzzles, but are quite enjoying lurking around the Mafia scene I am 35 and a Java Programmer from New Zealand. I am married but don't have any children as yet I am a firm believer in the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ but are fairly relaxed about other Christian teachings.

Here is a couple of doctor/healer role replacements I thought of for a Quarky themed game. Master Of Security Sets up buglar alams/security systems at the chosen persons house. If that house is attacked or visited during the day (a Quarky prefers the cover of night) alarms sound in the night post. Master Of Entrapment Sets up booby traps around the house. PM both the house and a number (1-3) to host god. If that house is chosen by anybody during the day/night they are told to also select a number (1-3). If the numbers match that person is trapped till the next lynching and has to prove that they were there for ligitimate reasons. Clues about the persons identity should NOT be metioned in the night post.

After reading Mafia V I would also suggest a "Hand Of God" HOG role Basically they are immortal until they complete one task which can be given to them at any time by the host god. Once the task has been given they are mortal. If they can complete the task and "get the game back on track" they then win with the innocents(or baddies if the host god is so inclined)

As there are a lot of baddies and to make the inspectors job a little more interesting you could: Post the inspector two baddies (from different factions including yakusa) and one innocent but not identify which is which.
