See, as I was just PMing. Stumped me again. And at my own game, pow, right in the kisser. Just couldnt see the forrest for the refined sugar. Am very flattered though. Good stuff!
  3. Am so glad to know I have tickled the old synapses. Not it, let's hear some other passing thoughts... like the logic, not it but good thoughts, both.
  4. Not it DarthNoob but must say I'm always amazed at your answers. Crazy wild sometimes, spot on othertimes and both very good for my sanity.
  5. not it but different directions are always encouraged. good thought(s).
  6. nothing to do with those from my vantage point. cool thoughts tho! I likes no sorry neither, I'm afraid DN.
  7. See where you're coming from. Alas, not it.
  8. closer to the second guess than the first but not really close at all. just between the two. please keep at it. Am sorry but not the answer. Thanks so much for the compliment Typical.
  9. Splitting time between heaven and earth. Valueable lessons of telling worth. A long time ago they were unsurmounted. Scored before penmanship even was counted. Codified simply, five fingers, two hands. The closer to beam, increasing demands. Start once again with this knowing jab. A custom to stick, not intending to stab. The truth simply hidden, revealed in this frame. Now tell me please, of this subject, its name.

Another great one MrsP. This one have been mulling over for awhile. Been hard to steel (is that the right one?) away here at work to take a shot...

    Not given up, yet...

OK, been looking at this long enough to know I'm not getting any closer Someone else may need to clean this up.

I would not call this a failed riddle at all. Pretty confusing but of course for riddles, that's not always a bad thing. I think the last line makes perfect sense as it reads (now that might not be a very stong argument). Take the advice, as I did, from MrsP and let it go. All too often when the riddler starts to doubt and poopoos the riddle, that's when it gets confusing and begins to, as you said, fail. Cant quite describe why it often feels like a riddle is doomed initially, it just naturally does. Dont underestimate those messed up minds here in the Den. Good riddle DN.

Been stuck 'til now with that crazy Monday pesky work thing. However do they expect me to satisfy my riddle habit, I dont know. Havent had a chance (several hours) to review but have a guess: Great riddle MrsP!
  15. Wilson's ANSWER Chess_Vixen's clarification hugemonkey's discovery puzzle within the riddle discovery Hope all enjoyed. I know I did.
  16. Really, CV, those ...indented lines are just for looks and direction as to how to read the riddle.
  17. I accept this answer as correct. Excellent deduction Wilson! Dont know if you are an expat or not but there is a more specific term common stateside. And for those who know me, I have always included a little play on words into my what am I's. This riddle is no exception other than the fact that, in most every instance, the play on words may have helped or actually produced the answer. Care to solve the puzzle within the riddle? Find the POW. Hint: it is not the kinda punny charade of a title.
