WEEDS
No one wants them in their garden / yard / whatever.
A different kind of *weed*, though "medicinal" in some places.
... Is that a weed, or the flower I planted last week?, "Gossip spreads like weeds" (& so do weeds)
They steal nutrients, choke the life out of other plants. Generally people want them gone &/or dead!
& Yes, you can use Round Up to kill them.

WEEDS
Hee hee! Yes it is! (my backyard is losing the battle!)
-
No to both!

Some kind of computer virus, or some type of 'ware? Or maybe spammers?
Nope, although in the abstract I agree!
-
I will not have your kind here!
You are outlawed, despite other properties.
Your pretend innocence will not fool me, nor will your vitriol spread!
For thievery and murder, I sentence you to removal, and death!

Not to be contrary,

You did something for me,
Then asked for the dough.
Sent to me, so I can see
All you did, not free though.

BAKING BREAD
I tend a garden full of flowers, Can't make bread without flour!
my garden has some bees. Need some source of sugar
The rain comes down at odd hours and water
and bubbles through the leaves. get the yeast working
I tend a garden near the sea, salt is needed
I bring to it my flowers. add the sugar/water/flour/yeast mixture to more flour & the salt
I plant them here and randomly Better do some mixing & kneading
mix them for their colors.
I tend a garden in the summer
when it's humid and hot. let the dough rise in a humid, warm place
The flowers oft twine together, to finish developing gluten & allow yeast growth
granted, it's their lot.
I tend a garden that's grown wild, hopefully you have a bowlfull of bubbly dough
and I must make it smaller. punch it down to get rid of excess gas
Shape and mold, make it mild, re-distribute yeast & bubbles, shape it to the form you want
and then let it grow taller. then let it rise again!
I tend a garden in the desert, into the oven with it!
the flowers grow and spread. more rising ... till the little buggers die
Delicious smells, tho not vert, if you don't like the smell of baking bread, I think you're weird (no offense!)
are heady it is said.
I tend a garden at my home,
and when I cut my flowers
everyone completes their roam
to enjoy the lovely bowers. Wouldn't you stop what you were doing for some fresh, home-baked bread??
-
How could I possibly resist an "I'm not a..." riddle?Flour, honey, and water are mixed
Along with other ingredients
Then the dough's allowed to rise
Before you knead it down to size
The scent will spread as bread is baked
And everyone gathers around to partake
Exactly! Thought you might like the title ... I enjoyed writing it, hope others enjoyed it!
-
a perfume-maker? (not sure what you would call that... perfumist? perfumer?)
No, not that either ... whatever it's called.
-
Wait nevermind didn't see the title!!!
That's ok! But as you surmised, no, it's not that.
-
a cook?
In a way you're getting closer!
-
No, not that either.
-
a barber?
Sorry, no.
-
what about sheep? Grazing from place to place?
