Ah, band camp. Enjoyed my time in marching band in HS & uni, but I'm old now & no way in hell doing that anymore. (Though if I go back to school again, I will probably do concert band & pep bands. It's that fun.) Now I get to do alumni band & threaten to not give money to the department every two years when they make us remember all the marching & chart reading & doing it again ... & again & again & again.
Technically I can play the piano but haven't in a looong time. Play flute & piccolo, with a few other odd-duck instruments during my time (pit percussion marimba/xylophone, cymbals, brake drum was interesting ... & loud
, a *little* alto flute, & the odd bit of recorder, clarinet, & water goblets).

There is a little purposeful double possibility, which is why HS's fits almost perfectly ... but keep trying fabby!

Salt?
Fermentation? Or that one place where you keep wines until they're perfectly aged or something...
Both good answers, & in keeping with the theme, but still not quite it.

When life give me lemons, I exchange them for a quarter of frozen beef. True story.
(It helps that I have a lemon tree & my parents are beef farmers.)

Love is its own kind of drug - mainly endorphins. So you can literally go through physical & emotional withdrawal. Finding other (legal, safe) ways to boost your endorphin levels can help a lot.
(What do YOU like to do, that doesn't involve being with him? Meditate, read, sports, window shopping, music, write, movies, clubs, etc.)
Positive reinforcement helps emotionally & mentally.
I know I didn't want to hear this as a teenager, but - talk to your mom/female adult parental-type figure. They need to know you hurt so they can help support you.
And give it time.

We need to fix all our problems before we advance on. By the way, why is this under jokes?
Because the comic is funny.

There are several types of clams ending in 'neck' (littleneck, longneck, shortneck, topneck, pinkneck), there are also a few razors. Due to the list of '*necks' the clam may belong to clue 11, yet due to the 'razors', the clam may belong to clue 12 ("...to shear off"). As to the oyster, the only common names I found that do not include the word 'oyster' are bluepoint and tio, or of the oyster-related 'scallop', pure and tipa. And I found nothing in the short list, with or without 'oyster'/'scallop' that strikes me as fitting either clue.
11. What might be considered 'spice'? What common object(s) might have a neck? Find the right words/sounds, string them together to get the answer.
12. Two parts, the same word, which sounds like the answer.
Still looking for fish.

Do you know what they call the person that graduated last in their medical school class?
Doctor?
I don't know much about DMSO, but to my understanding it's harmless in low quantities. (and is found in low amounts in a great number of things)
But because it can dissolve so many chemical compounds, it can be dangerous by getting contaminated with almost anything - ie, you could easily use it to poison someone.
I don't care enough to look up the FDA trials, but I would guess that would be a reason to proceed with caution.
Got 'em!
