  1. If the answer for the first one were cake:pizza instead of moon:stop I would pipe up. But as it is I don't see it.

RID steal usually wouldn't be permanent, just for one night. Although now that you mention it, if a RID steal is just for one night, I guess it's essentially the same as a redirect except that you have to RID a player to use it?
  3. Great answers for the fourth line. It almost makes me want to start a Games thread like One Up Me where people take turns giving one-line riddles and and rate the responses. But we haven't yet gotten to the bottom of this one. Admittedly it requires a slight bit of mildly esoteric information to fully appreciate the answer, but not much, and the answer is nothing unusual. The third line I think would be the most specific clue.
  4. Not any sort of pasta I'm afraid. Although it does raise the question of whether a noodle that's a brain-eating zombie would be considered a cannibal.

Back when I went to a summer math program toward the end of high school (for bright folks, not a remedial program, despite my preference for word riddles nowadays) I brought Terrace along and it caught on among the group. How it would do among people who aren't the type to end up in a summer math program IDK, but if your group is the type that initially went into what was looking like it would become a chess/go group then it should fly.
  6. To live I die and rise from tomb Ravens cry I'll seal your doom In solstice drift I'm golem's eyes Wicked's gift for telling lies The children's mark amidst the grain Every arc consume their brain
  7. While I don't see how the overall grammatical structure of the riddle points toward this answer, many of the clues make me think of
  8. Right you are, TL. For your first answer, I hadn't even realized that it had that inherent religious connection to fit the last two lines.
  9. I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to respond to this one without it being a major clue. But whether this is within the realm of acceptability or not has a great deal to do with the specific nature of the device you have in mind.
  10. I can see how a soap bubble wand could fit most of the clues. But still without a button nose in the middle of the face to keep things together, and I've got much more of a bite from my toothless mouth.
  11. A nice guess, plainglazed, but not what I'm after. She lacks a tiny nose needed to keep it together. I'm still thinking that once this is solved it will be fairly obvious that it's the answer, as long as the righteous and sinner clues are interpreted correctly.
  12. If we're looking for a proof and a mathematical symbol
  13. Not an electrical outlet as its eyes don't float around too much; a finger that pokes it out would surely be doomed but not what I was going for with that clue. Nor a mouse, as it doesn't generally do enough smiting for this riddle.
  14. We're in the ballpark. The final couplet's clue might have been clearer if I had called the lord Dextrous instead of Righteous.
  15. Quite close, to be sure. I think the sinner and righteous clue may be the most discriminating once it's caught and unmasked.
  16. I think so, now that Wolfgang clarified that people don't have to take their positions before the next person walks in.Edit: unless he meant to say "where-ever" instead of "when-ever" in response to my question But that doesn't generally seem to prevent people from answering. Maybe Wolfgang will come by to mark it as answered.
  17. I like how shoes fit a lot of the clues like, well, a shoe. Not what I have in mind though.
  18. I think the problem's set up in such a way that you can't use that strategy. The people are blindfolded until they enter the room. So the first person won't see anyone's color, the second person will only see the first person's color, etc. Just for clarification, are there set positions where each row should form? In other words, should we treat this as if there are four rows of seats and all of the yellows must sit in the first row and all the greens in the second row etc.? Or instead can they form rows wherever they want, so if the first person to enter is yellow he can he stand anywhere in the room as long as all the other colors stand somewhere behind him?
  19. While not what I have in mind, neither is it far off.

  21. Roaming eyes will float about Finger doomed to poke them out Button nose that touches heart Let them never fall apart Gaping mouth with toothless bite Swallow not the soul I smite Best if sinner lets me lay Righteous lord will lead the way
  22. Ask Harrison what's inside the armor -- he mentioned there's evidence inside. And since it seems we start off at the crime scene, might as well look around it while we're here.
