I always imagined Gregor as this small little Gollum type guy. I can give him a piggy back ride?

Official "I want to move on immediately!" roster: 1. Mandrake (Gregor, unless I let him go.. )

Yeah, Admiral, ready for the logic in that one? I would have thought I made myself clear enough. The sooner we get to the top, the sooner we get the hell out of here. One thing this mountain has given me is a hypothetical avalanche, in that Nischal has shaken my belief in the beloved Flying Spaghetti Monster. Rethinking my life, it has made me want to start a family, and re-attempt *sigh* love. Before I became a religious man, my wife had a mis-carriage that ended up killing both her and our daughter. This was well over twenty years ago, but what I have learned from being away from life is that life is beautiful, and I owe it to myself and this wonderful world to start over. This is a path, I think, that God has sent me on, and I can only know for sure by making it to the top. I am a monk that lacks patience, but that is just one of many things to learn throughout the journey of life. I am taking Kirk with me because he seems to be awake a lot, so he does a good job of MOVING and MAKING DECISIONS and NOT WASTING MY TIME *pats Gregor, kind of like one would pet a kitten*.

The good ol' pond is the Atlantic Ocean separating the US from Europe. It's a way of saying Calcutta is actually English. Allow me to rephrase. I don't know anything about this expedition that has not been discussed in the main thread, with the exception of what Kirk and I discussed when given BTSC, but you guys were added to that conversation. I've done no successful investigating. Meh, I meant from my person's perspective. He's religious and been eating lichen, remember? That's a whole combination of crazy.

OOC: Hahaha, I just laugh out loud. /spam

Kirk gets a running start and leaps into Gregor, tackling him to the ground. His fall is broken by a soft cushion of snow. Brother Mandrake takes out his sin cords, a magical spiritual device, allowing one person to be bound to another. The owner of the cords may release the person he has bound to himself whenever he wishes, but given the nature of the cords, all other forms of disconnection are impossible and dangerous to attempt. Brother Mandrake, a look of sorrow in his eyes, binds himself to Gregor. The magic is felt throughout the heavens, a strange but soothing disturbance manifesting itself in the air. Gregor, frustrated, kicked, twirled, and bit to his fullest extent, but all attempts at escape were futile. "I'm sorry..." announced Brother Mandrake shamefully, "but... you're showing clear signs of insanity, and are on a food substitute that no one here is convinced is good for you. Withholding food from mortal men on ridiculous grounds is unwarranted." With that, Mandrake takes nine rations, bringing his and Kirk's total to twelve. Since they had not eaten anything of real substance that day, two would soon be downed hastily for the sake of survival. "Gregor, you may still ask your questions, although you are partially immobilized. With good behavior, and a recovery from insanity as judged by the doctor, I will set you free. And I say this with a tad bit of irony, but henceforth, I would prefer you didn't attempt to slow down or compromise this expedition for anyone. You are doing police work. Anything God tells you will not suffice for a jury, and any evidence you obtain may risk being thrown out if it's been acquired without the proper warrants. That is all." *edit* Aw, crap, just saw your post and PM. Boo for slow typing. Tip appreciated, but we can leave that source for the way down. I don't think it has done you well, my friend, but I can watch over you now.

I am not withholding any information relevant to this expedition, the outcome of this expedition, anyone's death, anyone's kidnapping, or anyone's food loss.
  8. Izzy

Gregor, you have had no questions related to me or Kirk. In fact, I was the first person to deny any wrongdoing, which you could have easily checked with God (UR). You're denying me food because I took a modest amount earlier and walked away from the group because you guys weren't moving? Where is the fairness in that? Unless you want me to starve to death, give me my fair share.
  9. Izzy

The solution there is to figure out who stole the food.
  10. Izzy

Look, and I say this as warmly as possible, but if you want to survive, it's in your best interest to go down. None of us know what lies ahead, and there's no guarantee that it's safe. If you have families that need you, you probably shouldn't continue, for their sake. If you're committed, not to surviving, but to finishing this, up we go. If not, please send for help when you reach the bottom. Sorry for just grabbing the rations, but to be fair, I only took my share.
  11. Izzy

Have you not noticed that we're on a mountain? That's what happens when it's cold, bro.
  12. Izzy

Then turn around. I don't personally care much for you. But there are two things we can do now. CONTINUE or TURN AROUND. If you wish to continue, let's go. If you want to turn around, do so. Where's the problem?
  13. Izzy

I was given a passive crew that would rather sit around and let us all slowly die than act. I am leading. Those wise enough to do so will follow. Everyone else should turn around now. Either way, staying here, for what, the third day, ACCOMPLISHES NOTHING.
  14. Izzy

Peace is something we find within ourselves, and where not better than here, where we really learn who we are?! Hey American, I can see you're thinking. Join me? There'll be no way for any of us to get back down the mountain if we do so in uneven numbers because of the ice that needs equal weight.
  15. Izzy

Oh. >_> I thought on the way back to civilization included back down the mountain.. Anyway, I'm leaving now then. The faster I complete the hike, the better.
  16. Izzy

Yeah, remember when God (unreality) told us earlier that we needn't worry about food on the way down because there will be a rescue squad?
  17. Izzy

What have I done? Let's see. I've developed a method for splitting rations. With six people eating, I can make those rations last five cycles, stretching six. If we're three regions from the top and cover one region/day, then I don't see the problem. This also means we have to get off our a'sses, stop complaining, and MOVE. What else? I led the search party for Scout. I figured out how to get us out of the ice trap. What have YOU done? Very successful job finding Gregor, bro. I may seem useless, but I've done a helluva lot more than you have. Let's make this simple. Whoever doesn't want to go on can turn around, leave, and stop wasting the food. Whoever wants to continue, follow me up the left. *takes three rations for self* *edit* Oh, remember Scout. We won't need food for the way down.
  18. Izzy

Also, John, I REALLY don't trust you. Your emphasis on 'honest' conversations, and.. general eagerness during these times.. confounds me.
  19. Izzy

Mandrake: 1 Mountain: 0 We found Scout, but a trap was set. It was this.. huge hole type thing. We had to climb out. If I hadn't had sin cords (rope-type-thing) and Scout hadn't had a heat lamp that we could turn into a grappling hook, we would have probably died. There were some tunnels, but we left them unexplored. Anyway. Left staircase. Let's gogogo. (We slept during the day so I could recover from frostbite and are pretty pumped.) Scout was dying from starvation when we found him, so we know he didn't steal the food. Did you guys accomplish anything?
  20. Izzy

Guys, let's go. Scout isn't coming back. We need to either send a search party or go up the other staircase. Like... now.
  21. Izzy

Mreh, the FSM will keep me safe. ..Perhaps Nischal can come? I AM a bit wary of these spirits.
  22. Izzy

Hmm. Should we send a rescue crew for Scout? I'll volunteer if some other people want to go with me.
  23. Izzy

Hey, guys, we need to start thinking about food here. Missing a meal here and there won't kill us. I vote we rotate in two groups of eating and not eating. One group will eat today, the other tomorrow, and so forth. Otherwise, we'll need to start getting rid of people, and I'm not a fan of the idea. In fact, it seems someone already thought of that and stole half the food for themselves.. Maybe that American? Or the fat millionaire?
  24. Izzy

    Oh, alright. Be careful, Scout.
