Question

Unlike my usual, no word puzzles at all! Just a straightforward WAI. Probably very easy... guess we'll see

Like a forest, I'm made from many

Like a fractal, when split I stay me

Like a soldier, I'm often tense

Like a school rule, I often bend

Like Lovecraft or Hitchcock, I can cause a chill

If you consider the the symbol I fill

The partner to Hitchcraft was not intentional. These two just happened to be the two that are most likely to give a chill, and the right type of chill, I think. I also considered Poe (only one syllable), Burton (too happy for being dark... even Demon Barber was kinda fun), Stephen King (King would refer to MLK).

Speaking of which...

MLK would have been quite appropriate to mention in this riddle.

the Mind?

Like a forest, I'm made from many Cells or Neurons

Like a fractal, when split I stay me Split it is still a "piece of mind" or a split personality

Like a soldier, I'm often tense in stressful situations like war

Like a school rule, I often bend Mind Bender

Like Lovecraft or Hitchcock, I can cause a chill Psychological thrillers are all in the mind

If you consider the the symbol I fill The mind is inside the skull, the symbol of death

Dinos la respuesta pero en un spoiler por favor.

No problem(a) =)

Chains.

Like a forest, I'm made from many - made from many links

Like a fractal, when split I stay me - split a chain, it's still a chain (and it can even be mended to its original length)

Like a soldier, I'm often tense - if the chain is being used like a rope to lift or hold something

Like a school rule, I often bend - like a rope, obviously flexible

Like Lovecraft or Hitchcock, I can cause a chill

If you consider the the symbol I fill - slavery is a chilling thing indeed

Again, props to HM for thinking up the perfectly acceptable alternate answer of

Mind!

(splittable because of the pun on "piece of mind," chilling because the mind fills the skull)

lol I had the same problem with spoiler. I would say Que alegre soy que no se quedaron desilusionados con la respuesta. But that's just me. There's probably a better way to say it.

Me alegro que la respuesta no les disilusiona?

Trataba encontrar "spoiler" en espanol y no podia. I think it's the same, just "spoiler," but maybe I just can't find the idiom
