Ya that was the point. The last few puzzles I've done have sounded like one thing when it was actually another, so I made it sound like aclown while still fitting a cat(which wasn't that hard) but I'm just amazed at the places my cats can get into, which reminded me of clowns and cars, hence the inspiration for this riddle.

Well maybe it's different with mine since I've had them since before they opened their eyes and fed them milk from a bottle, so they're my babies.
