We are not looking for an emotion as is love, lust, fear, joy, happiness BUT 3. The above does not mean our answer does not convey an emotion 4. Key word so by looking at this little clues is CONVEY 5. If funeral was mentioned last, how would you go about solving the riddle UP TO THAT POINT, then you get line (Except at a Funeral), and I would guess you would not change your answer but MODIFY IT 6. The two answers above (before the funeral and after the funeral clue) are so similar that you would need the context of a funeral to pick the MORE APPROPRIATE 7. Those who WANT ME leave little room for jest. Can the giver be less serious? 8. What is both cheap and expensive? Depending on how we use it? LASTLY ONE VERSION OF THE ANSWER IS RIGHT IN THE RIDDLE, AS IN WRITTEN DOWN, VERBATIM - NOT TO BE INFERRED, JUST READ OUT This will help. Lots of clues.
