A Surprising Riddle

A brain in a belly and the belly is a box.

Open up a door to release the door’s lock.

Arm-in-arm rubbing shoulders in the dark,

Waiting for the bite, biting back on the bark.

Metal in the mouth

Mouth out of reach

Waiting for the party getting started on the beach.

Wheel on a heel

The heel doesn't feel

This is what you win when you sin with a steal!

Very interesting. Bed time for me so I'll have to think about this one in the meaning.

Very nice, as usual.

OK. Time for re-write. Remember folks, riddles can employ a lot of metaphor.

A brain in a belly and the belly is a box.

Open up the door to release another's lock.

Arms-in-arms rubbing shoulders in the dark,

Waiting for the fight, biting back on the bark.

Eyes in the mouth

Mouth out of reach

Waiting for the party getting started on the beach.

Wheels on the heels

The heels don't feel

This is what you win when you sin with a steal!

Sounds like a good job in this economy... :P

You haven't left me completely clueless in a while Shakee. I can't even get an incorrect image to gel.

The middle parts make me think of chains, sort of, but it doesn't do anything with the rest. So far, I'm at a loss.

I don't have time to be consumed by a riddle today... grr.

Alarm system.

I think this is the starting point for the riddle, which means it probably isn't! This one's stolen the prize for sure!

I agree, Grayven, not a good day to get consumed, but this one's already gnawing at me pretty good!

Like Grayven, I'm left pretty stumped. Fortunately the others' guesses are helping me out.

All pretty way off the mark here. You guys know me by now; I would never make a riddle where the answer is a particular, overly specific "action" or situation. It can be too vague and not really fair in my opinion. A dog farting in a kennel . . . no.

A "fart?" why not?

Oh well. I won't give clues because there is enough in the riddle (especially the rewrite) to get you to where the answer lies.

Good luck

It reminded me a little of the landing craft they used at Normandy. I was able to make some of the lines fit but not all of them. I find that happening a lot with Shakee's riddles

I keep thinking of :

A (diamond?) necklace, a collar, things a thief might earn when caught (like a collar, or John B.'s 'tank').

This is tough, but seriously absorbing . . .

A brain in a belly and the belly is a box. ..operations standpoint of thing

Open up the door to release another's lock. ...lock - could be canals for vessels or maybe a wheel lock on a gun

Arms-in-arms rubbing shoulders in the dark, ...Wheellock firearm mechinisms have arms that rotate to fire...

Waiting for the fight, biting back on the bark... Makes me think of vessels again

Eyes in the mouth ...vessels submarine periscope...

Mouth out of reach ...mouth of a barrel gun

Waiting for the party getting started on the beach. ...vessels off shore

Wheels on the heels heels could be the heel of a gun..

The heels don't feel

This is what you win when you sin with a steal! no idea on this i think of baseball... second base? lol

I think I'm lost...
