I never found who the inventor was but, probably a famous barber at one time. Until this day, I still see them around, and don't know if they are still being manufactured. I was hypnotized as a kid, trying to figure what the heck makes it look like that. I can see the white stripe as a drill bit, going in a downward motion because I look at it in both ways. Some of you have not been concentrating on it like me. Oddly enough, something that has nothing to do with a haircut has been a major symbol for the shop.
