O ya, acording to string theory, there are ten dimensions, four for us and the other six are for your mom!

By the way, the term "Nothing" does not technically fit all of the categories of the 1st riddle.

BECAUSE...

In the last line it says "and all men carry to their graves".

Well yes, technically you don't carry anything to your grave once you're dead, but in actuality, in Ancient Greece, people believed you needed coins to pay Charon to ferry you across the River Styx to the underworld.

Ancient Greeks put coins in the dead person's mouth, or hand, I forget which.

Well, Nothing is the actual right answer, I'm just trying to be literal.

Yeah.

Yea, for the most part I agree with you.

In Ancient Greece they DID put coins under the corpse's tongue so they could pay the Ferry, cross the river, and receive judgment.

Although "nothing" could possibly be the answer to the first riddle, it doesn't really fit with some of the requirements.

Try it out with "Freedom":

Man may love the idea of "freedom" more than life itself,

But man may fear "freedom" more than death or mortal strife

The poor can have "freedom" because they aren't tied down to materialistic objects, while the rich require "freedom" from status, class and wealth

Contended men desire freedom

While misers who hoard all their money spend freedom and spendthrifts save freedom buy not purchasing to their hearts content.

When men die, they all carry freedom from the hardships of their lives to their grave.

Might be a little out there... but it could work =p

why cant the number 2 be a pearl?

The wave, over a wave, a weird thing i saw,

through-wrought, and wonderful ornate:

A wonder on the waves, water becomes bone.

Thats how a pearl becomes a pearl...water trapped in a molusc to become solid. and if you ever get a chance to break a pearl you will realize its made of layers..."wave over wave"

wonderful ornate
.. no doubt

This is the part where you type your answer so that it is hidden from view until the party clicks on "Show" to see your guesses!
