think Time Out was going for appropriate anagrams within the clues which got me going -

I understand the answers, but I have no clue how people knew what to look for.

Ever ask two questions then realize they answer each other?

I'm not good at this type of puzzle -- math and logic is more to my liking.

But thought I'd look into them. Part of the solution is to discover what to look for.
