Question

West Scotland is known to be one of the rainiest places in Europe. One day a man a man visits a pub. It's a 2 mile long walk back to his house and it's under no shelter. The man has no car, no coat, no umbrella and nothing else to keep him sheltered. When the man arrives home he is still completely dry. How is this?

I was going to say that just because it is one of rainiest places doesn't mean it rains everyday

or

Dry doesn't have anything to do with being wet but rather being sober so many he just met some old friends at the bar but didn't drink so he returned home dry

Im confused

if the man has "nothing else to keep him sheltered' then surely he will get wet whenever it rains ? Therefore his home cannot be a place of shelter because he has "nothing else to keep him sheltered". He's really just a bum stuck in the west of scotland getting pee'd on whenever it rains..
