Imagine you have a piece of paper with a perfectly circular hole in it of radius 1.5cm

Is it possible to fit a coin with a radius of 2cm through it? If so, how?

While maintaining the integrity of the coin (and the paper)?

You could twist the paper.

Well, I don't have what I need to try it, but I think if you bend the paper a little into a mobius shape, you might be able to slide a coin through it. Anyone able to test this?

I think you can fold it in half then open out a little the diameter orf the semi circle so it seems to stretch/gape at the 15mm part.

like the straight part of D would stretch

Fold the paper in half. pull the points where hole which you convientiently fold perfectly half along with the paper apart and slide the coin through on its side.

fold the paper so that circular hole becomes a half circle...then slide the coin through the half circle...

LIS, Blavek and storm all have it.

the hole has a circumference of 9.4 cm

fold the paper in half and you have a semi-circle with a circumference of 4.7 cm

if you bend the paper so that the circumference is in a straight line, than the coin will slip through with 0.7 cm to spare
