A policeman is called from The Police Station about a man who is causing trouble and havoc. They know all about him and know his address and that he works for the Fire Department. So the policeman goes to his house and axes the door and breaks through it. Once he's in there he sees 4 people playing cards and he immediatly spots the culprit. How?

there was only one man and three women playing poker (hopefully strip poker for his sake)

He was wearing a sign 'I am guilty'.

Or, it says the police know him, so the officer recognizes him.

The four guys were playing cards... the only person "causing trouble and havoc" was the policeman that axed and kicked the door down.

Thus I must assume that the crazy cop also works for the fire dept, and there was a mirror on the opposite side of the room.

When the Policeman axes the door and breaks through it, then naturally the house owner will step up and yell at the policeman (He will be the one man standing). Hence its no more a difficulty to identify the culprit.

They know his address so when the officer walked in he saw the homeowner making him instantly the culprit.....also they all knew him i mean come on.

Either there was only one guy playing cards and the rest were women or maybe he was still wearing his firemans hat.

The one who was not surprised or stunned by the axing of the door and break-in

is the fireman. He is used to seeing it in his job.

I would suppose the person with the least amount of chips would be causing the commotion.
