Remove six letters out of the following sequence to form a very common english word:

Pretty easy?

The word is bananas

I think that is wrong^^ you have taken away more than six letters......or i might just not be able to count, this is prbably more likely.

They took away exactly SIX LETTERS...look at the letters that they took away...S,I,X, L,E,T,T,E,R,S

You got it!!

You simply follow the instructions of the OP:

Remove "SIX LETTERS" from the following seq...

And you are left with

BANANAS!

I put this puzzle on PowerPoint in my trainings to make participants think outside the box and use a bit of their right brain...

Yep. I'm a sucker and an inside-the-box thinker. First thing I did was figure out that it must be an 11-letter word and totally restricted myself to looking for big words. Even though it slapped me in the face, I like it. Good one.
