    @all, the answer is 0.5 and this can be easily achieved by seeing x as 10^0+10^1+....+10^19=(10^20 - 1)/9.. and so on..
    but i wanted a different method to solve it... and the answer is precisely 0.5

    @doctor moshe, yeah this was the answer i wanted...this was how i first solved this question after which i found out the geometric progression method....

    46!!! now thats odd... lemme see..
    so 3=2^2-1
    7=3^2-2
    46=7^2-3
    so the next one shud be 46^2-7=2109

    this one is similar...
    2=2^1
    4=2^2
    16=4^2
    65536=16^4
    hence the next member shud be 65536^16 = 1.158*10^77 ... tats huge...

    not sure but considering the numbers as powers of 2, the sequence becomes 0,1,1,3,5,...
    2*0+1=1;
    2*1+1=3;
    2*1+3=5;
    hence, the next number will be 2*3+5=11

    therefore, the next member of the sequence should be 2^11=2048

    I dont know if this is correct but since fairy princess gets the first chance & shud get majority of the votes and everyone is greedy, she can propose that she gets 1/4th of the candy along with 3 others , say the ghost, the goblin and the mummy... and these 3 people will obviously agree since they get 1/4th instead of 1/5th if they split legally... thus fairy princess' proposal can get the majority
