My camera is a Canon SX10 IS. I just got it for Christmas, before that I had been using my mom's Canon SX5 IS. I'm flattered that you don't think my photography looks amateurish. :) I started less than a year ago and I hate to admit it but I don't even know how to use half the buttons/settings on my camera. :P But I'm taking a digital photography class in school next year, so h

Oh, sorry... By "what you used for the pics" I meant what camera do you have (or lens). I have to admit that they do not look amateur...

I didn't use a filter for the spider picture, and it hasn't been edited (other than sharpening). I took it late at night, the sky was the background, and there was a bright light behind the spider web that made the web & spider look white.

Stunning photography. I am an amature hobbiest myself. I have an almost identical picture of a bee on a flower. Great pic. My favorites are the spider web (what filter did you use?) and the hummingbird.
