Who are the Mods here?

Just curious. I was hoping to get my name and stuff deleted from the Anonymity thread.
I know that is kind of hypocritical, but with my unique last name this appears on the first page of Google searches.

your last name has been deleted. you should now answer to,"hey you."

Attractive Women?

Villains without a face

28 September 2012 - 05:27 AM

Ok, there isn't really an off-topic thread, but I figured I'd ask here anyways.

I'm also assuming that we have enough nerds here to know some for me.

I'm trying to figure out some villains (or heroes) that don't have a face.

They may have a mask, but with no eyes, or they just have glowing eyes under a cowl, but characters that you never see the face of, but you see the head.

I don't know if anyone checks this forum often enough, but I need to find a newspaper article about a negligent act that could result in a lawsuit.
I don't care where the article is from, as long as it is from September 2012 (yeah, a really narrow time frame, I know).

I need to write a short paper about launching a lawsuit over the negligence, so the article needs to have some details of the incident (to prove who did it) and some harm (physical or otherwise).

Anything from a car accident, bicycle accident, finding something gross in your food, etc. would work.

An unintentional act that causes harm to another.

Any links would be appreciated.

P.S. I need them by Sunday night (again, a brutal timeframe).

What is the flaw with his argument?

07 August 2012 - 08:36 PM

Ok, there is a story about a California physics prof who is able to get out of a traffic ticket by submitting an essay to the judge.

He wasn't fined as the judge couldn't argue with his defense, however there is a fatal flaw in his plan that even he himself does not recognize.

What is his flaw?

Here is a news article about it:
