Whoops. I hate when it says you have characters left, yet it cuts you off before you get to the limit <_<
.
Anyway, the average atomic mass of Lj would be 48.05 amu. To find that, you take (.25*47)+(.45*48)+(.3*49)
See? Easy. Besides, that's only a small part of chemistry.

Thanks!
And I know exactly what you mean with the grades. I've tried to get on BrainDen at school, but it's blocked because it's a forum :(
If I had been able to get to it from school, I probably would have failed my computer classes.

Yah, I got the idea from everyone on YouTube who takes screenshots of the 'no picture' default and eadded something, and edited BD's with the lazah meme.

Anyway, the weighted averages in chemistry are quite simple. Fictional example:
-
25% of element Lj is Lj-47
45% of element Lj is Lj-48
30% of element Lj is Lj-49
The average atomic mass of Lj ...

Wow, exactly 1000 posts in New Word Riddles right now.; exactly 27.7238703% of all your posts. How do you have the time to post this much?

Nice new pic. Is that your dog?
Anyway, I don't think I've done much with weighted averages in math, only in chemistry class. You use them all the time when finding average atomic masses.

ha, haven't done much in matrices either, though i do like playing around with them on my calculator.
the problems i like the least are weighted averages/chemical combinations and the likes
