From center to the top is R. This is split by h and d. So R = h + d
Substitute d and you get R = h + sqrt(R^2 - r^2) or h = R - sqrt(R^2 - r^2).
I had just solved for x instead of h in my other post.

Feel free to interpret it however you like.
However you like?
Alrighty then. Are you familiar with Neil Gaiman? A Dream of a Thousand Cats in The Sandman Volume Three, Dream Country.
A mother cats suffering the loss of her kittens due to her owners because the father wasn't a pure-breed goes on a quest for understanding. She finally meets Dream in cat form and he tells her that once humans were tiny creatures no larger than cats are now. Their role was to serve the cats and when the moon was full to serve as prey. Then there came a human that had an inspiration that it was dreams that shape the world. That dreams recreate the world every night. He told any human he met to not dream the world as it is but to dream of a new world where humans were masters. Finally enough humans dreamed of this new world and the next day it changed. She began telling other cats this and encouraged them to start dreaming things back to the way it was.
And this is why I tend to poke my cat when he is asleep by the computer.

I show the word could also be EMBLAZE, ENOLASE, IMBLAZE, INFLATE, INULASE or ULULATE.
I'm going to guess ULULATE.
--edit--
As a punishment I think both Nana and Thalia should have to sign up for the Justice League Mafia game.

Usually better to stay loyal and lose. There is always the next game.
Or if you do betray make it spectactular and clever so people wish they thought of it and not hold it against you. I've yet figured that one out but I hope to one day.
--edit--
Had you gotten Panther and Brainiac to attack me first while you attacked Shadow. (Maybe pretending to forget she is immune to attacks for now) Then you could have unequiped any STR gear you had and attacked Panther trying to make it below his 10 HP regen like I was doing to Cube. Since the rules say you can only use one weapon at a time I believe that means you would have been allowed to carry but not equip any gear.
Let them lower my health and then attack me while I was weak.... that would have been a better betrayal.
--end edit--
I am secretly hoping I kill you for your betrayal and get some really good stuff so I have a chance to turn it around and make a stunning recovery. I'm only saying this because I figure Brainiac and Panther know this already. And if I do kill you they will gang up on me for it... unless... no... maybe but where would I get the army of squirrels?

#323078 directions

cardinal direction noun - A direction toward or away from either planetary rotation or the planetary poles. Bionian planets only have east and west; trionian planets additionally have north and south; tetronian planets have two more, marp and garp.
Distance towards marp or garp is measured in laptitude.
---
I was also imagining a directional system based upon your position to the sun in the sky. East and west would be sunward and counter-sunward depending on the time of day. North/South would be right of sunward or left of sunward.
The time of day would have to be considered whenever directions were given. Also you would run into trouble giving directions if the longitude differed too much. Sunward morning in Japan would be closer to counter-sunward morning in New York.
No travel would be allowed between late dusk and early dawn.
I think it would break as soon as maps were invented.

Ah, I love the smell of pre-game arguments and debates in the morning, well, night actually..
Game has started. If you don't have your game face on yet then you are already dead.
I got your clue MikeD.

Since I don't know who he or she is, it excludes me too.
Sure Zim. Go poke Gir and get him to act.

He or she knows who he or she is.
So we know they are male or female. That excludes me since I'm a potato.

Sorry, just impatient because I realized that I was going to be going next Saturday to North Carolina.
So we need to kill you before then?
