If anyone believes that I am challenging Izzy's capacity to love then you have misunderstood. I am just engaging in healthy debate on the concept of love and its power.

My friend where is that picture in your personal photo taken from. It looks oddly familiar? Land of the giants perhaps or maybe from the show Lost my memory is fading me.

Life is living. The act of being alive. It's what you are doing right now. There's no need to get metaphorical with life, and life is the same with or without love, happiness set aside. The "specific reason" humans love is /mainly/ to remain with a spouse long enough to have a kid.
You're saying that we don't know why we love, and that this unknown reason conquer

Even if love exists purely as a figment of our minds, it is always there for "specific reasons" we cannot not deduce. Some ideas do not need to be justified for the mystery shrouding them alone helps incite selfless compassion. It can even be rephrased to say the idea or incarnation of love conquers all.

I did, as you do now, fully embrace Darwinism as a means of logically illuminating the inclination to love. The problem is that the trend of human feelings trends toward irrationality. Using your logic that love is just an "illusion" the same argument could be placed upon our concept of reality? What is life without love? What is life?

Haha, what soul? Humans continue to feel love because natural selection has decided that it is important for our survival. Humans love each other so they're capable of staying with each other long enough to reproduce. Love is an illusion, created by our minds for specific reasons, and therefore isn't really that important. Again, love conquers nothing.

universal harmony. In this sense love can conquer all.
