Ha. Good one. But, no. We're not looking for a proper noun. Not one specific person. But a kind of person. It should be rather obvious.

okay i can think of

blind/blindness

so it needs a word that is both the adjective and (the condition or type) --- i'm still waiting for epiphany, Lotus, I hope understanding is near! :)

yes!!! This is it. And the riddle wasn't precise in grammatical context. So, don't try and figure that all out. The word i was looking for was

blind
