My signature cherished, I’m world renowned - ?
Ever in flight above the ground - Compass rulers float above the ground on the points
Teeth of a bull chewing in time - The points "chew" into the paper on a chart
Gnawing on knots, shunning the find - "Knots" refers to nautical miles on a ship's chart
Hands at the ready, arms at the stay - The points are the arms, not sure about the arms
Heart like the sun beating away - ?
Ears like a rabbit pinned to the side - see picture
Listening close, far, and wide.
Eighteen in all, each heading a state - 18 inch ruler. Ruler is a head of state.
Ever awaiting the fall of fate.
