The image above displays the scales that you would use in this question..

You have 8 marbles, 7 weigh the same, exactly, One is heavier, So you have 7 marbles that weigh exactly the same and one that is only heavier by an increment you can only measure on the scale.. Not to the touch or feel...

You may only place, remove and replace the marbles on the scale One time in order to determine which one of the 8 is the odd one out..

How would you go about finding the heavy marble???
