susie is 6, Jane is 12, Rebecca is 24

in 12 years, susie will be 18, jane will be 24, and Rebecca will be 36

Let Susie's current age be X. Then Jane's age is 2X and Rebecca's age is 4X.

Jane will turn 24 years old in (24-2X) years from now. Rebecca will then be 4X+(24-2X) or 2X+24 years old. Susie will then be X+(24-2X) or 24-X years old.

So we get the following equation 2X+24 = 2(24-X). Solving it we get X=6.

So Susie is 6, Jane is 12 and Rebecca is 24 now. In 12 years Susie will be 18, Jane - 24 and Rebecca - 36.

this question does not make sense: if jane is 24 and jane is supposed to be half rebecca's age it's not possible for rebecca to be twice susie's age and at the same time twice jane's age or else jane and susie are the same age. Which is not possible cuz susie is supposed to be half jane's age

read carefully it says WHEN Jane is 24 Rebecca will be twice Susie's age. it is actually quite simple look at k-man, shazmafin or even most_dumb all are correct.

[spoiler='if you cant figure it out still...

']Susie is 6

Jane is 12 and

Rebecca is 24

When Jane is 24( the given so you can solve the question) Rebecca will be 36(2*18) and Susie will be 18
