If a commercial for Heroes or Lost comes on I do everything I can to not hear or see any of it I'm not looking it up to see if it actually exists so I'll just call it: spoilerophobia It's official then Spoilerophobia: the fear of commercials that reveal parts of shows. Sometimes when I'm at the doctor's office, I'll feel dizzy and become reeeeeally sleepy and keep yawning and hardly be able to keep my eyes open, and sometimes I get really hot and start sweating and get extremely thirsty, and one time my whole hand went numb and I couldn't bend my fingers at all. I wish I could just will my self not to do it, but I can't help it. It's pretty embarassing actually. Most people here are just being silly and don't actually have a phobia. (Not that they're anything wrong with being silly! ) Edit: I just noticed that this is in the Jokes section, so I guess that's the reason for the silliness. Hehe. BTW i have had food stuck to the roof of my mouth - steak and kidney pie if the pastry is really dry and you bit off to much - no phobia over it though. I am also terrified of going anywhere near the edge of something like a cliff if there's nothing to keep me safe. I can't go within 6 feet of the edge.
