What is PM monitoring?

= devious skill where you monitor who is active and what they are doing in real time - it's one of the thingd Bb used to do - if i am remmbering his admission correctly, I suggest a lot of people PM 'friends' to throw anyone off - especially as Bb has highlighted the possibility

That makes no sense to me. Why would you want to make it look like you were pm'ng someone in the monitor area?
All it does is make you look like a baddie.
I have yet to play a baddie so I havent had to worry. But now I will check the monitor to see who is
looking if I ever am a baddie. Aw that kinda bites. Paranoia hits......
