Barbera's daughter is my daughter's mother. Who am I to Barbera?

The answer is deduced as follows:
a) Barbera has a daughter.
b) The 'I's daughter has a mother, who is Barbera also.
c) By that reasoning, 'I' and Barbera have the same daughter.
d) By that reasoning, therefore, 'I' has to be the father of Barbera's daughter.

Nowhere in the riddle does it state that the person speaking is female, co...
The correct answer is that we are listening to Barbera's husband or just her baby's daddy, depending on how 'promiscuous' Barbera was.

Out of the answers given: Daughter. In real life, I would be more likely a Son in Law

The puzzle asks: Who am I to Barbara - NOT who is Barbara to me. Hence the correct answer is ... Daughter. Unless of course I am a male. Then the correct answer is not in the choices listed, it's Son-in-Law.

maybe some1 said this, but, bonanova, it cant be son in law, i think, because it says barbara's _Daughter_ is my daughter's mother, who am i to barbara, there for, if you were male, it would not work because it stated B.'s daughter's daughter's mom. i am pretty sure atleast
