Question

Lewis attends the International Convention of Truckers. While in the noisy convention hall he sees a group of men on the far side of the room. He does not recognise any of them. Without hearing them speak or seeing anything distinctive about their wardrobe, lewis announces to his colleagues: "There's the group from Australia. I think I'll go over and introduce myself." How did he come to his rapid and accurate conclusion?

Well my first thought

in Australia they drive on the left-side of the road, so their right arms would have trucker tan. Other countries do this too though, so I guess their added over-all tan from Australia would separate them from Englishmen =)

Yup... Spot on
