From a book, a number of consecutive pages are missing. The sum of the page numbers of these pages is 9808. Which pages are missing?

Only one of these two solutions actually make sense, though, because a page in a book has two sides, and therefore two page numbers.

unless page 9808 was the last numbered page.
But the reason why i prefer the other solution is that the op requested consecutive pages.
