How can you play chess from stockpiles
of 1x2x3 red & yellow bricks and 6x6x1/4
brown & gray tiles?

you can use the brown and grey tiles to represent the board and the red and yellow brick to represent each side, the "size" of the blocks together equal to its chess equivalent.
