The cost of turkey
Posted 04 July 2013 - 01:58 AM
I found an old receipt that belonged to Daddy Warbucks. He apparently bought 72 turkeys to donate to charity. The receipt was slightly faded. The cost of the individual turkeys was missing completely and the total price only had some of the digits visible. The total price shows __67.9__ where the underline are numbers that are faded.
What is the total price?
How much was an individual turkey?
Is there a strategy that eliminates the need for brute force or code?
