Printing my memoir, i accidentally printed all the pages in my book with page numbers (usually there are a few pages without numbers).  The printer printed a total of 1890 digits.  How many pages did my book have?

Maybe six hundred-ish.
More if you like to write dates out like "August twenty-third, nineteen ninety-seven" instead of using digits.
Less if you included some math riddles in the memoir.

Possibly thousands if the page numbers were written in Roman numerals and weren't the source of the digits.

assume the only digits used were on the page numbers and that only numbers were used to number the pages.
