Glad to know I got it.It was a very well concealed one indeed.
And guys please do try out SEQUENCE WITH A DIFFERENCE . I have posted a hint.
I should have posted a hint earlier. Your Personal statement holds true Bononova.

Now I'm curious. How did you get the answer if you didn't know the pattern?

You can alternate adding 99 and 101. It does not work for the 228, but I believe it does work for the rest.

OK, but the 2 28 is right at the start of the sequence so I would think that it couldn't be overlooked too easily.

Hey! Itachi-san , there is a thing called GUT INSTINCT. And the sequence was too much of a co-incidence for my answer not to be right. 331 430 531 630 731 830 931
It was my first guess. Then after realising the implications of the pattern , I modified my answer. ;)
