or even
2*4*108

So should we now just select 6 random numbers - plus the target? ( that's not a complaint, just a possible natural evolution of the game). It seems that the old format was gettin a bit easy

You must not think me necessarily foolish because I am facetious,  nor will I consider you necessarily wise because you are grave.  Sydney Smith.

Jack and Jill went up the hill
to fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And Jill just laughed at Jack as he sat there unconscious.

Jack should've known that Jill was a baddie . . .

54*9-(21/7*4)+3 = 477

I think it is more challenging to have to use all 6 numbers

no, you got the most numbers in the equation you should go.

Hey, should we count if all numbers are used?

So that if someone reaches the total with all the numbers he beats someone who reached the total using only some of the numbers?

I just think all numbers must be used to reach the total period. Some of the answers are easy if you can just use a few. Trying to make them all work is more challenging. *shrug* You all can do what you want but my future answers I'm going to use all the numbers. So there.

2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 ?= 987

--edit--

The count of numbers used might not work because if you got it with say 4 numbers how long would you wait to know it was your turn?
