Call me daft, but I don't understand the 'overarching' comments.

It's based on a comparison I made at the bottom of page 1 involving the word 'arch'.

Graumen's Chinese Theater
East meets west ("type" is style and "title"-- Chinese is pagan in all ways) At its feet are the stars of Hollywood fame. It opened with the premiere of Demille's "King of Kings" about the crucifiction of Christ. Well done gentlemen. And yes, I don't understand why Plasmid didn't hammer the nail into this one

Ah, I vaguely remember having heard about or seen references to celebrities putting their handprints in cement, but didn't know there was a theater attached to it.

Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Pagan refers to polytheistic cultures. Chinese are a pagan culture. The theater is done in a strictly Chinese architecture.

The first movie to premiere in Grauman’s was “King of Kings,” about the last days of Christ. It was a silent movie (muted) and garnered a good bit of $receipts$ (gold).

Glyphs to claim a crowd.**
At the front of Grauman’s, in the sidewalk are the original Stars of Hollywood, where movie stars (heaven’s light) kneel down to press their hands into the pavement, rather than signing their names. It’s a huge tourist attraction.

Of those who first unspoken**
The Chinese (eastern) styled Grauman’s is in the western U.S. in Hollywood, and it is where the best original silent movie stars are honored.
**Paved the way for those today
Who capture hearts oft broken.**
The tribute is handprints in the pavement and inspire many to seek careers as actors, who capture the hearts of many, particularly those who fall in love with their idols.
