And also, if you spy and find their role won't you automatically learn their faction as there is only one of each role?

Their Role wouldn't be "spy, block, kill, etc."  It would be the name of the actual role.  You might not know their faction, though, if you spy an Indy.  The "role", though, is the name listed before the role description.

I know that but let's say that I start a sequence to spy mboon and it passes.Then I find out she's Borden. And since there is only one Borden, wouldn't I know her faction automatically?

Yes. As MollyMae said above, unless "if you spy an Indy".

Also other secret abilities may interfere :)
