A priest walked on water for half and hour. How did he do that??

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Is this a question of how someone you saw pulled off the trick of appearing to walk on water, or is this an obscure riddle?

If it's the former, than the magic-trick is usually done using plexiglass supports which are submerged just under the surface and are nearly impossible to see under the water. If a "priest" was claiming supernatural powers, then I'd guess him to be a con.
