CARTS

If 1, ???DS because CARDS was 2 and the only difference between CARDS and CARTS is the whole D-T thing.
If 3, ???TS because CARDS was 2 and the only difference between CARDS and CARTS is the whole D-T thing.

Edit: O, R and D are out from WORDS so only C or A is valid from CARDS.

Odd... Dictionary.com says that Magi is the plural of Magus not Mage. Which would make sense because quite a few English words that end in -us use -i in the plural form.

Also found an interesting conversation on a WOW forum arguing for both forms.

I think if you are going to rule mages isn't a word then you have to rule that mage isn't a word either.

???E? because MAGES = 3 but MAGUS = 2 and E/U is the only difference.

And thank you TheChad08. ( I think it is silly for some of the evil dictionary people to allow a modernization of magus to mage but enforce the archaic plural of magi. I also played as a mage for a bit on a RP server in wow during the whole Northrend thing. I think I channelled that character for a bit there. Crazy trouble making gnomes... )
