Oh, man, I love this one! I'm in seventh grade, and my math teacher gave us this problem maybe 3 weeks ago. I was the only one to solve it, which doesn't really surprise me, since I am smarter than a lot of 8th graders, but it was really cool! :lol:

if his birthday was dec 31 and its jan 1.... so the day before yesterday he's 25, yesterday he's 26. This year he's 27 and next year he'll be 28... So it's Jan 1st and his birthday is Dec 31.

It can only be said on 1 january regardless of whether it is a leap year or not.

But you can only say it if you have just celebrated your 26th birthday on the 31st of December.

The day before yesterday (December 30) he was 25.
He turned 26 on December 31.
He talked about it on January 1. That year he would turn 27, so "next year" he would turn 28.
