Question

Here are four word puzzles - the first two I have known from childhood, the third is I don't know how old, and the fourth is, I beleve, original.

1) Here is a poem. What does it mean?

2) Here is a bit of prose to solve:

If the Bmt put :

But if the B . putting :

3) How can you get five consecutive 'and's in a sentence. (The sentence must make sense)

4) How can you get the sound 'for' five times consecutively in a sentence?

"ADVERT: Buy 'Bye-bye' by five o'clock and get 'Hello' free."

:duh:

1) Too wise you are,

Too wise you be.

I see you are Too wise for me!

2) If the grate be (GREAT B) empty, put coal on (colon)

But if the grate be full, stop (full stop) putting coal on.

3) A sign painter was painting an inn sign for the "Waggon and Horses" pub, and his mate was watching him. "Oi," he calls. "You haven't left enough space between Waggon and and, and and and Horses."

4) The cricket team have been stuck at four for four for four minutes.
