I have seen a koala, about a few months ago, when I was walking my dog at the park. Before that, I had only ever seen one at the wildlife park. As for a kangaroo, no. :P

Do you feel comfortable hosting?
Do you understand how to break action loops?
If you've never hosted before, I would strongly suggest hosting a TMM--there are fewer actions to deal with so it gives you an overall view of what happens as a host. You won't get the full host experience out of a TMM, but you'll get a lot of it.
Just be the primary host and have an experienced host there just in case. Anon and I did that and he did just fine.

Another thing to mention is time. It takes a lot of time to host--you have to answer questions in the game thread and in PMs. You have to send responses to actions (spy info, etc), tally votes, write posts, and settle disputes.
Don't underestimate the time it takes. I've made that mistake before.

@Bong: MoMa is right. Hosting a TMM would probably be best. We can work out a cohost for you for TMM7 if you like.

@Aura- Back when I was a wee lad (in 2008), I had Google gadgets (still do, but that's beside the point). I saw a riddle that I thought I knew the answer to. So I signed up for Brainden, and used a strange name, thinking that it would be the only time I came on Brainden. But I was wrong.
PS- I got the answer to that riddle wrong.
